Fill up a medium or large pot with water, add 1-2 tablespoons of herbs to your water and let it boil until your water is brown. Once your water is brown let the water cool for 12 - 15 minutes before you squat over your herbs. If you are a beginner, steam for 10 minutes ONLY. If you would like to steam for longer than 10 minutes, please consult with your yoni steam facilitator first.
DO NOT STEAM
- When on your period
- If you suffer from spontaneous bleeding
- If you have fresh red spotting
- If you have 2 periods in one month
- If you suffer from a burning itch (Not a yeast infection or BV itch)
- If you are pregnant
- If you been drinking or smoking
- If you're trying to conceive DO NOT steam after ovulation
- If your tubes are tied
- If you have the birth control rods under your skin
